Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Glimpse, including the website at tryglimpse.fun and the Glimpse mobile web application (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are
Glimpse is operated by the individual founder of tryglimpse.fun ("we", "us", or "our"). For questions about these Terms, contact us at contact@tryglimpse.fun.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Glimpse. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you are legally permitted to use online social products where you live. If you do not meet these requirements, do not use the Service.
3. Your account
You sign in with a phone number and a one-time verification code. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone secure and for all activity that occurs through your account. Do not share your account or attempt to access another person's account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe.
4. How Glimpse works
Glimpse places you into small groups of twelve anonymous strangers. Each day, your group receives a different question or task. You respond with a daily Glimpse (a photo or short text). For the first twelve days, other members see you only as a six-emoji identity. On day thirteen, group chat opens and nicknames may become visible according to the product flow. Groups, prompts, and features may change over time.
5. Anonymous identity and content
Your phone number is not shown to other users. In groups, you appear as six emojis until the product intentionally reveals more. You are responsible for what you post and send. Do not post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, violent, threatening, or that invades another person's privacy. Do not impersonate others or use Glimpse to spam, scam, or manipulate people.
6. Connections, sparks, and messaging
After your group experience, you may use features such as connections, sparks, and private messaging. These features are optional and subject to the same respect and safety rules. You may not use messaging to harass, coerce, or distribute unwanted commercial content. We may limit or remove messaging access when needed to protect users.
7. Safety, moderation, and reporting
We provide in-app reporting tools. We may review reported content, messages, and related account activity to enforce these Terms and protect users. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users when we reasonably believe a violation has occurred or when required by law. We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we may do so.
8. Paid features
Some features require payment, such as joining an additional group, Glimpse Plus, or other one-time purchases offered in the app from time to time. Prices, availability, and feature details may change. Paid features are optional unless clearly required for a specific action you choose to take.
9. Billing, subscriptions, and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider we designate. We do not store your full card details. For Glimpse Plus subscriptions, you can manage or cancel through the billing portal where available. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. One-time purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where a payment provider policy requires otherwise. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at contact@tryglimpse.fun with your account phone number and purchase details.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse engineer or interfere with the Service; scrape or bulk-collect data; attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls; upload malware; use automated tools to create accounts or post content; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. You may not use Glimpse if you have been suspended or banned.
11. Intellectual property
We own the Service, including its design, branding, software, and underlying technology. You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process your content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including for moderation and legal compliance.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy at /privacy, which explains how we collect and use personal data.
13. Termination
You may stop using Glimpse at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we must do so to comply with law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive termination (including payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect matching, permanent storage of every item, or that every feature will remain available. Glimpse is a social product involving strangers; we cannot guarantee how other users will behave.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) EUR 50, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and, to the extent mandatory local consumer protections apply in your country of residence, those protections remain available to you. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may also have the right to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence. Before filing a claim, please contact us at contact@tryglimpse.fun so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
